    A feature that for the life of me, I don't understand why it was removed...
    Yes the servers merged, but there is always going to be a test server.
    With the new engine in Beta, who knows, there may be another server some day...

    Yep, one of those issues that will probably never get fixed.

    MrPete: Any chance you could add AOItems as link/export options to AOIA? Link format would be https://aoitems.com/item/ID[/QL]. Example: https://aoitems.com/item/275838/ or https://aoitems.com/item/246415/141/

    PS: Looks like the .csv export will be useful for an upcoming AOItems feature.

    Anybody else having problem with it not tracking "Broken Shadow Crystal" ?
    It does not seems to work with assistant 1.1.5.5 ++
    Using latest database rip, perhaps it has something to do with it being ignored somehow? (that id)

    How are people finding AOIA with the New Enigne client? I made fresh AOIA installs for my two NE installs and I have to say AOIA doesn't seem to be working too well with them at all It's slow in finding items and falls out of sync (especially falling behind) much, much faster. Is it a question of resources?

    I only use it on the old engine so no help there. I would LOVE to see a feature wherein the program would open and name every bag in inventory and bank sequentially, just some like 01 - 02 - 03 etc. This would be an amazing way to get an idea of what a toon has after starting fresh with no saved preferences. The names wouldn't make semantic sense but at least you could find an item by search easily enough.

    Totally! AOIA caused rage quitting more than once...and kept me FROM rage quitting almost daily Dozens of alts + hundreds of backpacks + AOIA = match made in heaven!

    Anyone able to donate a troublesome item?

    All I got available is a froob account, not sure how I'd go about troubleshooting the issue without said items.. hehe

    I could give you a Ring of Power or a Sandy Piece of Goo. The only thing I found out is that these Items got an new mesh. Give me your char name and I wil mail it.

    "Warpit", but I think I got myself a test candidate already: "Health and Nano Recharger" appears to be invisible! =)

    Edit: Seems these items are indeed being tracked correctly, but they are invisible inside AOIA.

    Hint: Needs a new DB item parser that spans across all resource database files.

    Solution: I have one, but I've changed the format for completely new tools. What I'll try to do this week is reconfigure the local DB storage and port it over to the old AOIA so the items are once again available to see within AOIA.

    You are correct in the case of "Sandy Piece of Goo" not being in the extracted database, but it's not the only issue, the "Health and Nano Recharger" is in the extracted DB, but cannot be found.

    Therefore current AOIA's won't have any record of this to display.
    I'll see if I can quickly patch the code together to get a new version out.

    I've got a semi-working fix, it will run fine on the new engine, but requires the old engine to parse the database files.

    Its not ideal, but it works.

    1) Launch it using the old ao directory (it will create the item db then crash)
    2) Launch it again using the new-engine ao directory.
    3) It works! \o/

    Its a temporary fix until I (or dream) can roll out something cleaner

    Edit: If you are replacing your old installation of aoia, delete "aoitems.db" and "ItemAssistant.conf", that will reset AOIA without losing any of your bank/inventory/etc info!

    So it sounds like AOIA "works" with the new engine until you need to update the database?

    Are you saying above to use this latest AOIA fix-version with an old-engine install, let it crash and then use it with the new engine?

    How am I telling one install of AOIA to look at two different AO installs?

    I am still using the old engine for Live ... I only have the new engine on Test-Live.
