    What agent is going to fp fixer, when all you get from doing so is gsf?

    I admit I don't play an agent but gsf is a pretty lame addition when you could get rrfe instead.

    I play melee but trying to bring real world mechanics into AO would only screw melee more....

    Kur'Ush Mallet has a 3m range... seriously a 3m range I could maybe see 3m if its was a pole arm of sort but its not.

    1) Real world? Of course not. But, its not that tuff, with practice.

    2) If Im moving Tactically (weapon up)? Fractions of a second.

    We can all appreciate that videogames!= real life.

    But, anyone who has ever played a melee prof vs fixer or agent or crat knows that there it is only a matter of time before you get a one way ticket to reclaim.

    It's not soldiers who are the issue. Solds have lower RS and most melee's can chase them down to produce a decent fight.

    The main problem are ranged advies who have way higher runspeed, can kite until the cows come home, and evades don't really bother them because of AS. Fixers are obviously an issue because of spin nanoweb, and crats are equally tricky as a result of AS and a slew of offense.

    Heard loud and clear, thought the whole AS thing is changing, RS got hard capped and all them snare/root things are gaining a complete overhaul, as well.

    If your saying that agents have high RS couse they can mimic into Fixer then you fail, alot.

    No, because his point is invalid it already takes ages for an agent to buff as it is. Add intentionally going and getting kill so that they can then change again to another profession and waste another 2-3 mins of their BS time will happen very infrequently.

    Melee and ranged are balanced.

    Melee can attack WHILE moving, ranged cannot. Most melee classes have access to high root resistance on top of that.

    because its possible doesn't mean you throw it into every comparison. Its actually very infrequent.

    it's possible for a MA to get gsf from a fixer in BS, but you dont take that into account because it dosnt always happen.

    then by all means navy, every time your in BS ask an agent for GSF, apparently all agents do it, or at least enough for you to warrent thinking that every agent does. I think you will be surprised at how few, if any, do it.

    If its true that heaps of agents FP fixer, then thats 2 profs you can ask for GSF then, meaning MAs have an even wider chance to get GSF!
