Thread: About the new Aimed Shot

  1. #61
    Heya!

It will ruin some signature stealth-attacks and have consequenses thereoff.

Agent often hit Q + Consentration (if available, 7min cooldown ) and stunperk before they fire off any specials when attacking from sneak.

This will actually change stealth in pvp, making agent into more of a dead-on fighter like soldier and enforcer is. Then, what agent specialises in; Infiltrating in mass-pvp would just be pointless as we (possibly) will not be able to pull off enough damage, that matters for us or our team, in short time when we break sneak.

+ our perks might get new chain-requirements, slowing us further down, to be able to do damage (which as a side-effect effectively limits the usabillity), which gives our opponents plenty of time to heal, coon, put up evades, counter attack, debuff us ...forcing us to defend ourselfs and abort our damage-frenzy.

How would that affect player-behavior, playstyle and charracter-customation?

Kiting in pvp would also be changed....

Agent would have to stop and wait to fire off damage, making us splat/get debuffed... and if (don't! ) they on top of this is pulling through with lowering the already short duration on important perk-effects (unbreakable short-term snares) like Soften Up and Tranqulizer (where we get a little time shooting on snared targets, or escaping in pvp) Agent would actually end up having to fight even more in mimic doc or more unlike a assassin/stealth-class which it actually is supposed to be.

It would not benefit those who wanna play it by doing deadly and rapid strikes from sneak or in&out-attacks

Therefore agent will become more like a squishy soldier-class dependant on using ch and having tons of static evades.

Is that really the goal of this? Not very impressed!
