Friends list was cleared when servers were merged, and everyone was issued new Character IDs.
As for the nanos, some of them were removed, some renamed, some altered. There's not to many of them though, luckily.

Usually people first try to fix themselves the problem, after that they search for help (similar topics all over this forum) and after that they post their problem (aka complain, cry a river, etc).

Hehe lolz. Congratulations for playing 12.6... But 2001 hasnt been around for almost 15 years. Things change, people are different, friends are new, nanos are new. Honestly game is better than ever, and good people can be found ingame... Just maybe not old people.
