Coming into Rubi-Ka for a newbie, watching the shopchannel must be a real shrug. Pieces going for millions, prices going up and down, some ppl are loaded with cash.
At first money isnt the most easy thing, if u wanna get implants and ncu for your char, then u will be constantly out of cash. You have to work for the money. After a little period things are changing. Some professions are able to update theyr equipment and some are not. This is the fighting classes, using weapons usually, that manages to keep up. They have advantage of for example sell theyr old weapon when they buy/get a new one. MA doesnt really use weapons at all, so they dont have to buy weapon. But for a doc for exmple, upgrading is a real pain. There is no *used* nanos out there, and getting money, well, goes very slow for them, since they cant do missions, and then not get items either. Fixers also dont earn money to fast, since they have problems with greens and greys missinos.
Ppl worked alot of credits buy yalmahas (planes) and they can now make even more money, cause they can grab what ever mission turns up, with that good stuff. Then they make even more money in higher frequensy than others.
There is some that run alot of missions, making *alot* of money. Then they find out they have got much more money than they ever need to use and figures they can make money on selling credits (or they are quitting the game and sell what they have) Then u get ppl with hughe loads of cash, that havent lifted a finger for it (in game, ofcourse, they have earned money in rl) And that must be wonderful, getting that 5.000,- turn into 5.005.000,-
Most ppl that buy money buys yalmaha. The plane is worth every god damn credit. And those u have yalmahas have enourmus freedom compared with those without, can team werever it have to be.
So were am i going with this thread, well, there is a hughe diffrence in money between professions. Some professions have to buy credits for $ to keep on with others.
That docs (wihtout rich friends) have to go constantly broke at all levels, is it ment to be like this from Funcom? That some professions are loaded with cash, gettin able to buy wrangles, nano buffs to greatly increase they power even more?
So what is the cause of this major imbalance? Well, being a profession good in solo 1vsmonster pays money, being a profession good at other things dont pay money (like healing)(exept wrangles and some other buffs, traders make good money on that)
I mention docs alot, cause its the most clearest nonfighting profession. Fixers also have major problem with missions, but that is more of a gigant mausser nerf than a profession problem. Could docs start charging for theyr service? I dont see that happening, since all doc would have to do it at the same time, and docs would also have to be even better healers than they are now (since they can be replaced with MA and other seoncdary healers) Ive noticed that docs are collectiong monsterpieces to make plasma, but how creative was that really. Seems more of a emergancy solution from funcom to toss *something* to doc.
What i mean to say with this, is that money are imbalanced, extremely. And it just suck extreme for the professions and players more focused on other tasks than running missions after missions. And there isnt any special rewards for those either. Its money or nothing. (oh yea, there is something called tokens, and that is also for those good in solo mosnters in missions...)
is this gonna be done someting with?
