Solo Mission Glitch?

I've noticed lately on an occasional solo mission where you just have to find someone that when I get in there and loot and kill all the enemies that that person is nowhere in the mission, so I have to dump the mission. This peeves me if I wanted the doohickey for the reward. Anyone else have that problem?

Not with that mission type, but once with a "find item" type. Nice mission, challenging without being a nightmare and a good size. Nice xp, nice loot, just no mission objective.

Petition is your friend in a situation like this. I've had it happen several times, and each time I've had someone come in and verify that the item is nowhere to be found, and in some instances warped me to the item, where it was stuck in a wall or other object.

Of course, that could take a while, so I guess save that for an item I really wanted.
