    Alarm Clock...

One thing that should be easy to implement within the chat system. An alarm clock, example use:

/alarm 2:15 "You need to go to sleep now."

    /alarm <- command
2:15 <- hrs:minutes until the alarm is set off
"You need.. " <- Message that will come in a tiny pop-up window after 2 hours and 15 minutes.

    !!!

Now that is something I could use =)

Of course, you can always just set up a scipt/program of your choice to be ran at the scheduled time (forcing an alt-tab out of AO), but I really think this would be great =)

    Hmm

some of us already have this ... haven't you ever heard anyone say in team chat:

    "Ah #@$! gotta go - just drew wife-aggro" ?

How about hrs:min:sec? What I'd use an alarm clock for is to give advance warning when various nanos running on Mobs or teammates are going to expire. At least we now get a notice when DoTs and Charms expire, but I'd like to know about 10 secs beforehand so I could get prepared. Also I sometimes run buffs on teammates that I don't run on myself, and it be nice to know when to rebuff them without them having to ask.

In terms of implementation, I'd like something like a little flashing indicator off to the side that had a label I could specify at the time of initiating the timer.

uhmmm ... isn't Helpbot already able to do this ?
Alex "Cado" Portello - Atrox Enforcer
Lakisha "Sheelai" Thompon - Solitus Doctor
Al "Asdur" Orender - Solitus Martial Artist

I have no nose .. I peeked on Ani while she took a shower!

Helpbot is sometimes lagged or down.

An in-game user-settable timer would be great.

/alarm 05:58:00 "Cast a new GA, yer about to be nekkidfixer."
Gunned down the young. Now old, crotchety, and back.
