Hello all,

A long time ago, I made a nano program for calmers, which was Here this had alot of bugs that started to do my nut in, but i still used for calming mobs in game, and when new chat system came out i had to re do it all again, and fixed some problems from the last time.

Its still in beta format will need testers of all professions to test it out.

Now Have Homepage for the tool, that will be updated every week.

Within the zip file is a guide of how to install, i am working on a setup program for it, but prefer to sort the bugs if any first.

I have taken some Video footage and screenshots of the program in action which i will be uploading very soon.

Ok

The program, is what it says it is, Nano Notice, Using nanos and sending msg's to people or teams... with out using a macro.

you know when your in teams and people say stuff like Ive calmed %t down dont attack. They use a macro, but with nanonotice they dont have to, they just click the nano and if its succesful the msg would come up, if not succesful eg fumbled no msg will appear.

Amosco, your a trader, say someone asked you for a wrangle of say 37 points, you could select them and click the 37 point wrangle and it would send that user a msg saying you gave them 37 points, this way the person knows he/she has been wrangled, and can simply /r back to say thanks

Trader here buffing Drfoxy with one click of a nano.

found one problem, re uploaded zip file.

readme should be

Step 1)

copy the inside of folder nanonotice to Main Ao folder e.g. C:\Program Files\FunCom\Anarchy Online\

should overwrite cd_image and scripts

Overwrite anything that pops up.

Edit: I stated it wrongly... It wasnt a virus or anything like that.. It was me using a bad anti virus program.. Sorry for making it sound like something is wrong with the program.. gonna test this program myself anyway.

Doesnt sound good at all, id be vary of installing/running anything that your antivirus catches as a backdoor.. it might for all we know be one.

ahh sorry that was the VB file i used to use along time ago.. it was detected as a virus back then but its not.

used to be dected as a backdoor, for some reason, but its been removed from this new version.

I would not virus a community in ao when im addicted to the game and play everyday that would be just stupid

It was not my intention to attempt to distrust Foxy or accuse in any way. I was a bit worried based on Charfbiz2's statements which lacked much details to make any clear conclusions towards what exactly it was that was "caught".

The version of nanonotice that i downloaded passed virus detection just fine, and did not attempt to open any ports nor send traffic anywhere (confirmed by Etheral sniffing all traffic passing trough the network interface) and is working just fine

Cudos for a great app.

One comment i do have is that since it appears the program can be run fine after AO is started, that could be added to the readme. This would help ease the paranoia for people like myself (guilty) when it comes to safeguarding the AO passwords as the application is not running at the time of password being entered

Also, any chance of adding MP announcements for Nano Shutdown ?

I havent had time to log in, but do you have the Composite nano line buffs included in that program? Or just single buffs? More or less I am wondering if every AO buff, including SL ones are included or not.

Only added the main buffs, not all buffs stuff like wrangles and MP comps and normals

added no normal genrel sellbuffs cause it would be stupid to let your self know that u have given your self it.

Btw, you cant send tells to urself anymore (new chat and all) So buffing urself opens a tip window for those with tip on.. and a "Cant send private message to yourself" or whatever.

Yeah I know, but still a great program. I have downloaded it now.. I just need to find a victim to cast a single buff on.. If you ever do decide to add Composite buffs to that thing.. I would appreciate it atleast :P
Oh well, so far so great.. If I ever make a mezzer it will be nice

Afaik its more or less a program, that has messages like "CHed xxx" Dont know if it has CH.. but I think it has Mezzing messages etc. Foxy should be able to give more info on it :P

but the best part is for mezzers and doc's which i have video footage off which i will upload today, as ive left usb cable at work

You know what could be good, adding this functionality to perks... With all the bonuses for combos of perk attacks it could help out immensly

Perks adding to system is in the pipeline, but not for a while, need more input on normal program first to see if its worth carrying on with.
