Is it me, or the new planetmap is Messed up.....

What i mean is, when im in sl etc and im running to a mish etc sometimes parts of the map wont load up and i get blue patches and its really annoying as i cant see where on the map i need to go as its not loading..

i have had same issue but it goes away if you close the map and reopen. or atleast that works for me

yea this happens all the time. If you move the map around some, the blue patch will disappear... or just appear somewhere else -_-

Yea, this was the second thing I noticed (after wheel zoom ofc

) when the patch went live. Seriously annoying. It wouldn't be as bad if the map saved its last position when you closed it. Alas, trying to fix the missing areas by pressing 'p' recenters the map, so you end up having to move the map again, which inevitable creates new artifacts.

Either way, its definitely something that needs a fix.

They definitely know about it though. Sil locked the thread I made about it the day 16.3 hit live - probably not more than 2 min after I posted it. They wanted all the GUI related stuff to be in just one thread. I reposted in the GUI thread, and a few other ppl have posted about it there as well.

The thing I find bothersome is that if you open up your planet map while not outside, it defults to the top left corner of the map. Which is bloody stupid. :-/

Same if you have uploaded a mission to map/compass and it don't have target coordinates.

Having a mission uploaded with target information in it, will make the map center on mission instead of yourself every time you open the planet map.

Changing the zoom level always centers on your character or the active mission, instead of centering where you centered before (or even trying).

Sometimes uploading a mission while the map is open doesn't cause the map to recenter to the mission, you have to click the "mission" button in the map.

One thing I noticed the map no longer autocenters on the shop when you click on something in the GMS window. I liked the old behavior. When the search results included several indentical items at similar or identical prices, you could quickly click on each and see where which shop was located without clicking on the "Center on SHop" button each time. I wonder if this change was intentional?

If not, wtb the old behavior

1. when I open planet map - it centers on me (or 0,0 coords). RK map also zooms out to max out.
2. when I open SL map - it opens with weird vertical and horizontal lines and all slightly blurred. Moving map fixes it till you close it.
3. About switch map: "It was easy, now it's more intuitive"... i.e. sucks
