Patch error

Got a new SSD and did a fresh install of everything.
Everything works perfect and pretty quick.

Now to the big drama, installing AO..:
- download latest version of ao from their site.
- that thing downloads a big thing: Version 18.3.13
- I install the game under c/Funcom/ao
- I do not yet copy any prefs or 3rd party programs until i have logged in at least 1 time.
- I open game and start patching.
- patching all the way to the end and then i get this huge error: "An unrecoverable error occurred during patching. You might have to reinstall Anarchy Online to play."

- I try to patch it again regardless of what the error said.
- same error again.
- I fully remove the game from the Config window (you know what i mean) and also remove the entire Funcom folder that remained on the C-disk.
- I reinstall, patch again. and BOOM...same error.

Setup:
- Running on win7, 64 bit.
- I have not yet configured my firewalls, but it was patching, so why would the firewall interfere after patching?
- Got no exeption list set on DEP yet, but that's only needed to let Clicksaver and AO get allong with eachother.
- Forgot name, but the "protection thing that makes your screen go grey and ask you for permission everytime you move your cursor or even breathe", is turned off completely.

try downloading the manual patch from http://l3cdn.ageofconan.com/patches/...8.3.14_EP1.exe .

Ths should work differently from the online patcher.
Another suggestion would be to check your file permissions on the installation folder OR install to a real harddrive and if that works, copy the folder over to your shiney SSD.

Hope it helps a bit :/ (although i beleive its a Win7 related security issue...)

The serurity thing made me think. gave every executing file of AO an DEP exeption.
patched in 1/2 a second and already logged in.
