Overall, how would you describe your past experiences as an engineer using just one word? My choice would be: complexity.
It means that there's a lot in one thing, which is exactly how I feel about this profession! The word also implies tediousness and determination, both of which are there.
That being said, I make this thread in honor of alco and post this video to dramatically exemplify my feelings!

My word would be multi-tasking or possible swapping
Multi-tasking on the basis that engineers have to be able to control and micro-manage themselves and their pets. I'm sure any high-level engineer can agree with the swapping one. I currently have three full sets of armor, four HUD setups and two sets of weapons that I regularly carry on my engineer to swap as situation demands because we don't have a single setup that's useful everywhere!
Ok, I think we can safely work out why FC things engis are overpowered and can do everything at once...

By that I of course mean that it's way less boring to play an engi than something else like and adv or so. Swapping, casting, buffing etc. isn't fun at all, but in any situation we have lots of things to do, and I think our profession requires a lot more concentration to be used at its maximum than other ones.
