Alien Tower Field

Actually aliens already attack towers, but NPC ones, in sector 35 apf.
But the idea is really lovely, if alien levels will be high enough - it can provide good challenge and could enlarge tl7 pvp on all servers because such alien attacks can greatly help (if alien levels will be pretty high) opposite factions to get tower fields to themselves.
Aswell it can provide some unique loot from unique aliens during tower attacks.

This idea is really good and can be greatly improved with new sub-ideas.

Massive (grand)Mother ships attack the planet and they can use orbital strikes. They send out mother ships to attack cities and tower sites all over the place. To end the invasion you have to beat up a raid and board the ship once you clear the ship you are sent up to the grandmother ship which is a massive zone that is loaded with aliens and take lots and lots of people to clear them.

That would be a idea for another booster patch, Introduce Aliens to Notum wars :P

Sounds like a pretty solid PvM view. But some people might like a PvP "raid" outside of Tara. Getting "leadbots elsewhere with relative ease" might make sense to some, but to me, farming leadbots solo with a 220 isn't easy it all, it's excruciatingly boring and a complete waste of my time and life. I'd love to see a fun alternative to farming them. From the sound of it, you probably think the opposite, too much drama and not enough watching TV while you /q /heal, which while I respect this view, I don't agree with it at all.

As I said in that post my issue isn't how hard or easy things are, my issue is that people would go and get lead bots off a general attacking a field and the other side would complain that it was there's etc.

"The aliens attacked my orgs field the general belongs to us"
"Omg I started fighting that general and this (Clan/Omni) ****er came and KSed it and got lead bots"

The only thing that stops people from KSing you in city raids is because Funcom has made it clear that it's against the rules to KS a spawned mob (PBs and AI Gens). A Gen that spawns without such pretenses would be open to be killed by anyone and you can bet that extra drama would be caused by someone over the lose of possible lead bots.

I simply don't think that we need more drama when lead bots are (while possibly boring) easy to get in existing ways.

You say drama, I say PvP. Does Clan "KS" when they beat Omni @ Tara? These zones are 25% right? Seems pretty obvious to me that the person standing would get the bots.

The question is not if it's KS if Clan beats Omni at Tara, the question is; does it cause drama?

The next question is: why do you need bots from it?
