bump. 175-214 is just sheer over powered. If 1 shadowlevel is equivalent to 5 normal levels then 175-214 is about the spread of 95 levels. Silliness.

He suggested a range of 151 to 200, not 150 to 200. The apparent approach with current levels is to align the BS ranges to major pvm twink levels, and 150-200 would be the exact opposite of that (it would be the same stupid range as before which shut the entire class of s10 twinks out from also competing in BS).

The 151-200 range would have an obvious correspondence with s7, so would allow twinks for that zone to give dedicated pvp'ers in the same levels some mildly challenging cannon fodder. It would also give maxed out froob toons an obvious slot where they might be able to compete with at least some of the paid toons they will face.

The sensible and obvious ranges would be:

1-25
26-60
61-100
101-150
151-200
201-220

There is not any good or apparent reason for the bizarre slicing and dicing of TL6/7 (other than the obvious, which is just catering to whiners that want their old twinks at particular levels to continue being ubar without any change).

These level ranges are just fine. Anyone with a level 170-174 twink should be able to cope with the average level 200 player and should find it a challenge.

I agree in principle, but would very much like a lvl roleback from 174 to 150..
Just like IPRs given when they change the IP and skill values.

To be honest s10 > S7
also more hardcore twinking there.

AO was designed around lvl 200 being the top, all fr00b nanos show that, but because of power-gains from expansions, 150 is the new 200.
