Bad Lag?

I've been getting a lot of chat lag/rubber banding today and yesterday and others have been experiencing the same.

For me things just stop for anything from 3-10 ish seconds. Then it either catches up or I'm disconnected.

In either case I'm usually dead when I get back on. This started happening a month ago or so.

Zero lag here. It's your ISP. Also, it might be time to upgrade from the 56k modem.

Had lots of rubberband, desync, LD past few days...

Dont know if its the same trouble as i had just some days ago (and dont say its my ISP since i have 100/100 Mbs), i did also have some huge lag's, but i did down loaded the latest GfX driver since the one i did have there was something that did not liked AO's last patch, but after i done that then every thing was like before.

For the record, even 100/100 Mbps connections can be provided by poor-connectivity ISPs (packet loss, technical malfunctions, etc).

don't forget when they take pipelines down (figuratively speaking) for maintenance/repairs, you will get redirected around it, sometimes through congested networks that are being pushed beyond normal capacity.

Well i have to say i play many times with 4 clients at the same time with no lag att all.
But after the last patch i did have some huge lag, but that did go away when upgraded to the latest Nvidia gfx drivers.

Had problems zoning today, 4 times in the row.
2 times going / exiting BY and others when usin whomap.
Only option was to kill the client from taskmanager.

And also one client crash.

Normally I dont have any problems with lag and stuff.
I live in Finland.

It's just the government employed hackers that check AO players computers for copyrighted stuff.
